SCIENCE FAIR driving question

our materials are

• 2 eggs
• 2 cups of salt
• 2 bowls (deep)
• Teaspoon Measurements
• 3 cups Milk
• food colouring

our driving question is

how salty does the sea have to be for an egg to float?


Our hypothesis is:

We think that if we put 3 cups of salt in it will float.

We also think that if we put die in the water it will give it a push and make the egg float! We chose this experiment because we were wondering to know what the outcome was going to be

Science fair project:

How salty does the sea have to be to get an egg to float?

Step .1

pour four cups of milk or water in the bowl. And  get the next ingredients ready

Step .2

put, three cup of salt in the milk or water.

Step .3

put the egg or boiled egg in the bowl.

Step .4

watch the bowl and record the info down on the page.

Step .5

put results on your google drive and share with group of people that come to the science fair. (Mr Ashby)

Hypothesis: I think that if we put 2-3 cups of salt in the milk an egg will float!

Aim:  To get an egg to float in milk or water with a limited amount of salt and only one egg in a bowl at a time.

Materials:

• milk
• an hard boiled egg
• egg
• bowl
• water
• salt (lots)66
• cups (like: teaspoon, tablespoon, cup, half cup)

Data

The egg needs to have a certain amount of salt to work, the water that have no salt in it did not work a single bit.

Conclusion:

For genius hour me & meg are going to build a dog house our dog house is going to be simple like this
(not as fancy)
A dog house is 
a small shed 
mostly built 
in the shape of 
a house, a 
shelter for a dog. 
It is a structure
 in which a 
dog is kept and 
it is sapost to
 provide a safe 
place to dogs 
outdoors.

Speeches

This week we started to work out our speeches. I don't like public speaking, but I think 

that I can get over it. I am stuck on my topic, but we have got a few more day to think of a topic. my two ideas were:

• Why are there more sheep then humans in  New Zealand.
• What would i do if i was a dog for a day?

What Are Someways I Can Get Over Public Speaking???

1. Do public speaking to my mum and family every Sunday when we have our family dinner!
2. Do in front of the class more offen!
3. Do it in front of my friends!
